How cashback and your wallet work
Every purchase on igitems earns 4% back to your wallet. You can top your wallet up in advance to earn a bonus, and you can spend the balance on future orders.
Cashback on every order
4% of your order price is credited to your wallet in USD when the order is marked completed. The rate is the same for every buyer.
Top-up bonus that scales
Top your wallet up in one of six fixed amounts. Larger top-ups include a larger bonus, up to 6% on the $500 tier.
Spend balance at checkout
Your wallet balance can cover an order in full. Balance-paid orders still earn the same 4% cashback.

Cashback is credited to your wallet in USD when the order is marked completed.

Top-ups are processed through Stripe. The bonus is credited to your wallet in the same transaction.

Your wallet balance is always stored in USD. Top-ups can be paid in any of the currencies below, converted at Stripe's exchange rate at the moment of payment.
You choose one of the six USD tiers ($25, $50, $100, $150, $250, $500) and Stripe charges you the equivalent in your currency.
The USD amount credited to your wallet is the value Stripe reports after conversion. Small variance from the sticker amount is normal when paying in a non-USD currency.
igitems does not add a currency spread on top-ups. Any FX cost comes from Stripe's own rate.
How wallet balance works at checkout
Full-order payments only
Your wallet balance can cover an order in full. Split payments (part wallet, part card) are not supported. If your balance is less than the order total, use a different method or top up first.
Cashback still earned
Paying with wallet balance still earns the same 4% back. Balance-paid orders are treated identically to card-paid orders for cashback.
Where wallet can't be used
Wallet balance cannot be used to pay for further wallet top-ups or for the IG+ subscription. It is intended for product orders on the marketplace.
Fraud safeguards
In rare cases where an account is flagged for chargeback risk, wallet payments can be temporarily disabled for that account. This does not affect earning cashback, topping up, or receiving refunds.
Common questions
When does cashback appear in my wallet?
Cashback posts to your wallet when the order is marked completed by the buyer or by the system. It does not post at the moment you pay or when the item is delivered. If an order is cancelled or refunded before completion, no cashback is generated.
Do IG+ subscribers earn more cashback?
No. The 4% rate is the same for every buyer. IG+ affects the service fee on your orders, not cashback and not the wallet top-up bonus.
Can I withdraw my wallet balance to cash?
No. Wallet balance is store credit that can be spent on product orders. It is not withdrawable to a bank account or payment method.
Do bonus funds and cashback expire?
No. Wallet balance never expires, regardless of whether it came from a top-up, top-up bonus, cashback, or refund.
What happens if I top up in EUR and the exchange rate moves?
The USD amount credited to your wallet is calculated at the moment Stripe processes your payment. Later exchange-rate movements do not change your balance, because the balance itself is stored in USD.
Can I earn cashback by paying with wallet balance?
Yes. If you pay for an order using wallet balance, that order still earns 4% back to your wallet. The system treats balance-paid orders the same as any other order for the purpose of cashback.
Why does the credited amount differ slightly from the top-up tier?
When you top up in a non-USD currency, the USD credited to your wallet depends on Stripe's exchange rate at that moment. The bonus tier you selected still applies. Small variance from the tier's USD sticker value comes from FX conversion, not from a fee.
